BISC 466: Medical Anthropology

3 Semester Credit Hours Introduction to medical anthropology, including non-western perspectives on disease causation and curing, paleopathology, ethnomedicine, ethnopsychiatry, shamanism, alternative medicine and biocultural approaches to health problems.
