EMGT 6113: Research Methods and Proposal Development

3 Semester Credit Hours . 0-3-3 An overview of the general methods used in engineering and science research, including literature search, hypothesis generation and testing, problem exploration, communication of research findings, and ethical issues. This course will guide students through all the steps involved in preparing a research proposal, from topic identification, literature review, design of experiments, data analysis, proper record keeping, and project planning.
