STAT 520: Applied Probability and Mathematical Statistics3 Semester Credit Hours . Prerequisite MATH 244 Combinatorial analysis, joint and conditional probability, distribution theory, expectation properties, moment-generating functions, random variables, limit theorems, random walks. Credit will not be given for STAT 520 if credit is given for STAT 620 or STAT 505 or graduate credit is given for STAT 405 .
