Mathematics and statistics courses are designed as follows: (1) to provide mathematics courses that serve as General Education Requirements (GER); (2) to serve the requirements of students pursuing a curriculum in business, education, engineering, etc.; and (3) to provide students majoring in mathematics a thorough preparation for graduatelevel mathematics or for employment in industry or education. This program leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science.
