Requirements for a Minor in Spanish

The minor in Spanish consists of 21 semester credit hours and must include SPAN 101 , SPAN 102 , SPAN 201 , SPAN 202 , and three additional courses at the 300- or 400-level. Please note that SPAN 426 and SPAN 427 are not eligible for use as part of the 21 hours required for the minor. Native speakers who wish to minor in Spanish must complete three 300-level course other than 301 and 302. Only upon completion of these courses will credit for SPAN 101, 102, 201, and 202 be awarded.

Grade Requirement for Minor

Note: A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.
