Philosophy - Minor

The Minor in Philosophy consists of twenty-one hours. A student who minors in Philosophy must take PHIL 201 , PHIL 205 , and at least fifteen additional hours. At least nine of these hours must be at the 300 or 400 level.

Requirements for a Minor in Philosophy
- PHIL 201: Introduction To Philosophy 3 Semester Credit Hours
- PHIL 205: Ethics 3 Semester Credit Hours
- Philosophy Electives - 15 Semester Credit Hours (minimum of 9 at the 300- or 400-level) taken from courses such as:
- PHIL 301, PHIL 303, PHIL 405, PHIL 489
- POLS 325, POLS 327, POLS450
Grade Requirement for Minor
Note: A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.
