Biology Minor

Requirements for a Minor

Twenty-one hours of Biological Sciences (BISC) courses which must include

• BISC 130: Biological Principles 3 Semester Credit Hours
• BISC 131: Biological Principles Laboratory 1 Semester Credit Hours
• BISC 132: Biological Diversity 3 Semester Credit Hours
• BISC 133: Biological Diversity Laboratory 1 Semester Credit Hours
• BISC elective courses 13 SCH

Grade Requirement for Minor

Note:  A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.

Elective Note

Only BISC courses available for BIOL major credit, with a minimum of 9 hours at 300-level or 400-level.  Only 3 hours of BISC 360, and no hours of BISC 361 are permitted to be applied toward the minor.
