Requirements for a Minor

A total of 21 hours in Family and Child Studies courses will complete a Minor. Required courses include

FCS 100: Marriage and Family Relationships 3 Semester Credit Hours
FCS 201: Introduction To Life Span Development 3 Semester Credit Hours
An additional 15 semester hours of FCS course work, of which 9 semester hours must be at the 300-level or above.

Note: A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.
