Requirements for a Minor

A total of 21 hours in Human Development and Family Science courses will complete a Minor. Required courses include

HDFS 100: Couple and Family Relationships 3 Semester Credit Hours
HDFS 101: Intro to Lifespan Development 3 Semester Credit Hours
An additional 15 semester hours of HDFS coursework, of which 9 semester hours must be at the 300-level or above.

Note: A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.
