Civil Engineering Minor

Requirements for a Minor

A minor in Civil Engineering consists of 21 credit hours of Civil Engineering (CVEN) and/or Mechanics and Materials (MEMT) courses approved by the Civil Engineering Program Chair. At least 12 hours of these courses must be at the 300- or 400-level.

Notes:

1. A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.
2. The minor program requirements are only applicable to students who are pursuing an engineering major.
