Actuarial Science Minor

Grade Requirement for Minor

A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.

• STAT 4053: Statistical Methods 3 Semester Credit Hours
• MATH 3153: Financial Mathematics 3 Semester Credit Hours
• MATH 4903: Topics in Mathematics 3 (9) Semester Credit Hours

Total Semester Credit Hours 18

*For mathematics majors who wish to minor in Actuarial Science, MATH 3153 , STAT 4053 , and nine hours of MATH 4903  used in the Actuarial Science minor can not be counted towards their major requirements; a 3000 Level or above English or mathematics course, or a 3000 Level or above course from a second minor/concentration may be used in place of INEN 3013  to fulfill the major requirement.
