The Department of Modern Languages, within the School of Literature and Language administers and coordinates the minor in International Studies, lead by a member of the faculty designated by the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts.

Grade Requirement for Minor
A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor. Courses
- 6 Semester Credit Hours in a Study Abroad Program
- 6 Semester Credit Hours of a Modern Language (at the 200-level or above)
- Additional 9 hours from the list of approved courses for the International Education Requirement (IER)
- Or courses approved by the Coordinator of the International Studies minor
- A minimum of 9 hours must be at the 300- to 400-leve
