Spanish Minor

Grade Requirement for Minor

A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.

Courses

• SPAN 1013: Elementary Spanish 3 Semester Credit Hours
• SPAN 1023: Elementary Spanish 3 Semester Credit Hours
• SPAN 2013: Intermediate Spanish 3 Semester Credit Hours
• SPAN 2023: Intermediate Spanish 3 Semester Credit Hours
• Additional 9 HRS of SPAN courses at the 300- or 400-level

Total Semester Credit Hours 21

SPAN 4263 and SPAN 4273 are not eligible for use as part of the 21 hours required for the minor.  Native speakers who wish to minor in Spanish must complete three 300-level course other than 301 and 302. Only upon completion of these courses will credit for SPAN 101, 102, 201, and 202 be awarded.
