Criminal Justice Minor

Grade Requirement for Minor

A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.

Courses

The minor in Criminal Justice is only available to students enrolled in the BIS program offered at Barksdale Air Force Base, supporting the Tech-Barksdale MOU.

A minor in Criminal Justice consists of 21HRS drawn from the following courses, though not all-inclusive:

• SOC 2103 
• SOC 3063 
• SOC 3143 
• SOC 4103 
• SOC 4203 
• SOC 4243 
• PSYC 3043 
• PSYC 4003 
• PSYC 4143 
• PSYC 4183 

At least 9 hours should be at the 3000-4000 level.

Other courses in Criminal Justice, or other departments may be accepted by the Director of the Tech Barksdale Program if the content of the course is deemed appropriate for the minor.
