The minor in Social Sciences is only available to students enrolled in the BIS program offered at Barksdale Air Force base, supporting the Tech-Barksdale MOU.

Grade Requirement for Minor
A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor. Courses
A minor in Social Sciences consists of 21 credit hours drawn from the following fields of study: - Economics
- Geography
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
At least 9 hours should be at the 300/400 level. Other courses may be accepted by the Director of the Tech Barksdale Program if the content of the course is deemed appropriate for the minor. Total Semester Credit Hours 21
