The Computer Science Program requires a “C” or better in any course in the College of Engineering and Science prior to taking courses for which these are prerequisites. A student must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA in all Computer Science courses.

*Directed Electives are chosen by the student in consultation with a faculty advisor and approved by the Computer Science Program Chair.
**All Computer Science majors are required to complete either a minor in another discipline, or a set of directed electives chosen in consultation with the faculty advisor from one of the following concentrations:

Note(s):

Any remaining open courses in the minor or concentration must be approved by the student’s advisor or the Computer Science Program Chair.

Subject to the approval of the Computer Science Program Chair, students who complete a second bachelor’s degree (double degree) may use that degree to satisfy the minor requirement. For a Business Administration minor, the course CIS 310: Principles of Information Systems  will not be accepted because of overlap, but will need to be substituted by any non-Computer Information Systems College of Business course at the 300-level and above.
