Requirements for a Minor

The following courses are required to complete a minor in Communication Studies:

COMM 101: Principles of Communication Studies 3 Semester Credit Hours
COMM 202: Media Literacy 3 Semester Credit Hours
COMM 377: Business and Professional Speaking 3 Semester Credit Hours
COMM 203: Interpersonal Communication 3 Semester Credit Hours
9 additional hours of COMM courses at the 300- or 400-level

Grade Requirement for Minor

A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.
