Graphic Design Minor

Grade Requirement for Minor

A student must earn a grade of “C” or better in each course applied toward meeting the requirement of a minor.

• ART 1153: Design 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ART 1503: Design and Thinking 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ART 1603: Introduction To Graphic Design 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ART 2643: History of Graphic Design 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ART 2803: Typography I: Form 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ART 2813: Typography II: Systems 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ART 2833: Design Production 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ART electives 9HRS at the 3000 - 4000 level

* Prerequisites may necessitate more than the minimum 30HRS specified.  Minors are interviewed and advised by the graphic design area coordinator.
