The Creative Illustration minor prepares students for a dynamic artistic landscape where creative fields overlap, and visual storytelling reaches diverse audiences. This program equips students with the skills and industry insight to craft compelling narratives across multiple platforms. Career opportunities span surface design, children’s books, editorial illustration (magazine, newspaper, and book covers), technical art, and advertising illustration. By blending traditional and contemporary techniques, students develop a versatile portfolio that supports both career opportunities and future graduate study in illustration, fine art, and related fields.
